Jennifer Keim is an independent fine artist based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in original oil, pastel and mixed media paintings as well as portraits and commission-based paintings. Jennifer employs a wide range of talent creating “moments in life” with an Impressionistic-style brushstroke and Colorist eye.
An artist in style and nature, Keim has consulted on multiple visual and artistic illustrations, designed paintings and murals for local museums, created promotional artwork for multiple clients’ and corporations as well as commissioned her work for private collectors. Her paintings have been featured in multiple exhibitions, both solo and group, throughout the state.
It is a passion for paint that began in fourth grade that had her further her education at University of Georgia where she graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Drawing and Painting, coupled with a studies abroad program in Cortona, Italy. After graduation Jennifer, began her career working at Kaplan Thaler, Inc. in New York City as an advertising and public relations associate. Upon relocating to Atlanta, she further developed her industry experience by working at Fitzgerald and Company, as a storyboard and comp artist. While “doing the corporate thing”, Jennifer continued to apply her diversified knowledge and education to her love of drawing and painting. Jennifer is an active member of the Oil Painters of America, Portrait Society of America., High Museum of Art in Atlanta and MOCA of GA.
In 2007, Jennifer decided to stay true to her first love and make painting her full time profession. Doing so has allowed her to have two solo shows at the Huff Harrington Fine Art Gallery, five group shows at the Columbus Museum, create artwork for interior designer in Atlanta featured on HGTV, create all promotional artwork for Steeplechase in Pine Mountain, Georgia, create designs for the Rideau Waterway Land Trust in Ontario, Canada, produce artwork for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at the University of Georgia, craft illustrations for a southeastern retail catalogue as well as continue to paint the town red or any other color she sees fit.
